Stereo Wall released their latest music video “Jaga Hati Ini” which is a sequel to “Jakarta Hari Ini” in collaboration with For Revenge. “Jaga Hati Ini” presents a different concept, by changing the point of view in the music video, making a woman’s perspective as the main focus, unlike “Jakarta Hari Ini” which shows more of a man’s perspective.
Through “Jaga Hati Ini”, Stereo Wall invites the audience to see a deep story that describes the feelings of a woman who has not fully moved on from her ex. Questions began to arise whether the couple who had left her would still miss their ex.
Stereo Wall said that the concept for making this sequel had been in the works for a long time after the success of “Jakarta Hari Ini”. They want to continue the story of the red thread from “Jakarta Hari Ini” by creating a sequel “Jaga Hati Ini”.
Stereo Wall also revealed that the making of this song involved the active role of each member. The band composed the songs and music, while For Revenge, represented by Boniex, wrote the lyrics for the songs. During the recording process, Stereo Wall and For Revenge also received support from Denny Chasmala and Stevan Santoso.

For the video clip concept, Stereo Wall explains that it describes failure to move on in general, but in the end they couldn’t be together anymore. In the music video, there are also a few flashbacks of the woman and her ex. In the MV you can also see the red thread from the MV “Jakarta Hari Ini” which is represented by several visual elements such as flyovers and the condition of the city of Jakarta.
Stereo Wall hopes that the message of the song “Jaga Hati Ini” can touch the hearts of many listeners and provide deep experiences for them. Failing to move on is normal, and sometimes we need to feel hurt to be human. Hopefully, this video clip can convey a message and give fun entertainment for the audience.
