Bingkai Karya – Stereowall officially announces the release of its latest single, “Sisa Asa,” a reflective composition that explores endurance in the face of loss and the quiet strength required to continue moving forward. Rather than portraying grand or idealistic hope, the song emphasizes the most fundamental form of resilience steadfastness that allows an individual to persist through difficult circumstances.
“Sisa Asa” was written based on the personal experiences of Ramadhan Satria (Mamed) and subsequently refined into a universal narrative addressing loss, acceptance, and the courage to endure. Through restrained yet emotionally resonant lyrics, the song interprets asa (hope) as the simplest form of support: presence without excessive words, an embrace without explanation, and togetherness that does not demand justification. Selected lines such as “Beri aku asa, meski tanpa sisa” (“Give me hope, even when nothing remains”) and “Beri aku asa, meski tanpa kata” (“Give me hope, even without words”) articulate the need for inner strength when hope and language are no longer sufficient.
“Sisa Asa” also signifies a pivotal transition for Stereowall with the introduction of Zevana Arga (Zeva) as the band’s new lead vocalist. A Surabaya-born singer, Zeva officially joined the band in December 2025, succeeding Cynantia Pratita (Tita), who formally departed in November 2025.
Known for her strong background and interest in rock and metalcore music, Zeva has been involved in several music projects prior to joining Stereowall. Her arrival has been positively received by audiences, who recognize her powerful and expressive vocal delivery as a compelling addition that enhances the band’s live performances.
Through “Sisa Asa,” Zeva formally introduces her vocal identity to Stereowall’s audience, contributing a deeper emotional intensity while bringing renewed energy to the band’s evolving sound. Her inclusion represents a fresh creative direction for Stereowall’s artistic journey moving forward.
About Stereowall
Formed in 2012, Stereowall is an Indonesian alternative rock band originating from a shared vision between Rama and Ramadhan Satria (Mamed) to establish a music project characterized by a fresher, funk-infused, and modern approach. The band’s original lineup consisted of Cynantia Pratita (vocals), Rama (guitar), Usay (guitar), Ramadhan (bass), and Garda Nusantara (drums).
Two years after its formation, Stereowall experienced a profound loss with the passing of drummer Garda Nusantara due to an accident. This event led the band to enter a temporary hiatus. In 2016, Stereowall released its debut EP, “Never Ending Drama.”
In 2022, the band collaborated with Rei (Inay) as co-producer to further expand their musical direction. Since then, Rei has also contributed as a keyboard, synthesizer, and guitar player, adding new dimensions to Stereowall’s sound.
