
The 1975’s eagerly awaited ‘Being Funny In A Foreign Language’ album was available via Dirty Hit on October 14th, 2022. The band has released the live performance of “Oh Caroline” as the 1st video in a series of 3 live performances with VEVO to celebrate the release.
The 1975 will start on their brand-new “At Their Very Best” tour in support of “Being Funny In A Foreign Language” with dates in the US in November and December, followed by a run of performances in the UK and Ireland in January 2023 and Japan in April. Additionally, the group just revealed a new leg of their “At Their Very Best” tour, which will include dates in Australia and New Zealand in April 2023.
The 1975 launched their long-awaited live comeback last month, leading the biggest rock festival in Japan, Summer Sonic 2022, in both Tokyo and Osaka before performing twice at Reading & Leeds Festival as their victorious homecoming headliner.
The 1975, who were formed in Manchester in 2002, have become recognized as one of the top bands of their generation due to their distinct style, loyal fan base, and original musical approach.
The band’s last album, “Notes On A Conditional Form,” released in 2020, became their 4th straight No. 1 album in the UK and also peaked at No. 1 in Australia. At the 2019 ceremony, their 3rd studio album, “A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships,” also took home the award for “Mastercard British Album of the Year.”
