The Bakuucakar and Awdella released a remake of Glenn Fredly’s “Akhir Cerita Cinta”. The five minute song begins with the harmony of piano and saxophone from The Bakuucakar.
The song is part of a Warner Music Indonesia and BUMI Entertainment collaboration project. It involves The Bakuucakar and other musicians remaking Fredly’s hits. The Bakuucakar hoped the project would make the legend’s work always win people’s hearts.
Awdella expressed her excitement at being able to perform a song by Glenn Fredly. Moreover, the Indonesian legend is her musical role model. “It is so unreal. It is like a dream, even when I was about to take the vocal, I still couldn’t believe it. I was given a great opportunity to remake a masterpiece, me and our sad song. I’m very happy and grateful for that and I will work my best.”

In the original song, it begins with a piano. Yet, in The Bakuucakar and Awdella’s version, the song begins with piano and saxophone. Awdella’s soothing voice can deliver the emotion through the lyrics.
“Akhir Cerita Cinta” is the 4th remake after “Terserah” featuring Paul Partohap, “Kisah Romantis” featuing Lalahuta, and “Januari” featuring Anneth.
