Kunto added a bird sound to symbolize fresh experiences. Bird sound in the song is amusing. “A mistake. I used MIDI to arrange. Changing the sound setting when filling the snare was inadvertent. After playing, I realized it was a bird sound, not a snare drum. However, it became unique and philosophically relevant. Leaving home is like flying, like birds.”
Kunto Aji said his parents let him pursue his dreams like a bird. “Melepas Pelukan Ibu” music video directed by Aco Tenriyagelli features mother as life’s calibrator. The music video shows a boy and his pet living simply. He is depressed by life’s turns, including love turmoil. He discovered that only his mother’s hug could take him home.
