The National Released 2 Surprise Tracks “Space Invader” and “Alphabet City”

The National released surprise tracks for the fans last week. The surprise tracks consist of 2 songs titled “Space Invader” and “Alphabet City”. These 2 surprise tracks are the songs that will be in the list of their upcoming album in September.

“Space Invader” and “Alphabet City” are the first song update of The National since their late album release, “First Two Pages of Frankenstein”, with its most streamed song, “The Alcott” featuring Taylor Swift.

“Space Invader” is the main track among all of the other tracks that will be inside the album. The 7 minute track will let the listener hear the distinct drum instrument played by The National, and combined with Matt’s melodic vocal.

The release of the tracks was done when they were performing on their main show in Madison Square Garden, New York City.
