Tiara Andini dropped her latest single “Flip It Up” under Universal Music Indonesia. The singer who usually brought pop-ballad challenged herself to present a K-Pop vibe. She also collaborated with Hyuk Shin, a renowned South Korean producer.
“Flip It Up” features a rap part, which is a new thing for her. It was herself who requested Hyuk Shin to include it. The producer admitted that he was very impressed with the performance. “I hope that fans can pay more attention to this part when listening to the song. It’s an awesome part,” he said.
Tiara revealed the recording of “Flip It Up” was the hardest for her. “This song is very different from what I typically worked on. I had to rap even though I had previously attempted it, albeit only in cover songs. The rapping had to be perfect for Hyuk Shin and me, too.”
Moreover, the track comes with an outstanding music video concept. Created by EUIS Studio, it focuses on showcasing Tiara Andini’s dance performance while dressed in glamorous outfits. The luxurious lighting within the video also injects the strong K-Pop influence.
“Flip It Up” expressed Tiara’s feelings towards haters. It encourages people to respond to haters with their best efforts and enthusiasm in order to disprove their unfavorable presumptions. The song, according to her, is a stimulus for personal development and self-improvement.
