Bingkai Karya-Tiara Andini releases new single “Bukan Untukku.” A heartfelt song that captures the bittersweet emotion of loving someone who isn’t meant to be yours. “Bukan Untukku” is an old song composed by the maestro of romantic songs, Yovie Widianto. The original version was released in 2001 and performed by one of Indonesia’s legendary singers, Rio Febrian.
Tiara was initially surprised when asked to perform such an iconic song. “I felt a bit insecure because this song is legendary. But after trying to make a demo, everything went smoothly, and I’m really happy with how it turned out,” Tiara shared.
Yovie Widianto, the song’s composer, knew Tiara would be the perfect fit for the remake. “When we decided to remake this song, Tiara Andini was the first person that came to mind. Her voice adds a fresh touch to the song, and I’m glad she agreed to do it,” he explained.
The song portrays the heartfelt story of a couple in love but fate doesn’t allow them to be together. In this new version, the music is more dynamic, featuring a fuller arrangement that adds depth to the song, enhanced by Yovie’s signature touch.
Yovie once again shows his talent for creating beautiful music, blending the updated arrangement with Tiara’s unique and lovely voice, resulting in a fresh take on the song that stands out from the original version.
Besides the audio, the song “Bukan Untukku” also comes with a music video directed by Prialangga. The video tells a story, adding a visual element to the song’s emotional message. It stars Wavi Zihan and Arya Winata, while Tiara looks stunning in a red gown.
“The music video concept is fantastic. It’s not just about enjoying the song but also experiencing the story, making it a perfect combination,” said Tiara.
