Virdi (Mohamad Firdaus Firdi) is a talented young soloist who recently released a track titled “Pesona.” Starting with the epidemic Covid-19, Virdi spends his spare time crafting works in the Pop, Soul, and R&B genres.
Virdi’s seriousness about entering the Indonesian music market begins in 2023. He is currently signed to Didi Music Records after completing multiple demo songs. According to Adjie Dygta, A&R Didi Music Records, their interest in Virdi stems from a number of factors. Virdi’s songs are mostly about Generation Z.
Virdi put his imagination into “Pesona”, which he worked on himself. He was inspired to write the song after seeing a movie. “The inspiration for “Pesona” came from watching one of the films about two people who once loved each other but failed,” Virdi explained.
“Pesona” portrays the narrative of a person who falls in love without knowing why. However, “he” feels that there are numerous stories between them in each reality, whether or not they will be together. This song is inspired by the idea in multiple universes.

Musically, “Pesona” is influenced by artists ranging from Heize to DPR Ian to Toto. Virdi has previously published three singles on various platforms, as well as other tracks from collaborations with other musicians. Virdi also conveys a message to his audience through “Pesona.””Loving doesn’t always mean to be together,” he explained.
Didi Music Records has collaborated with Prialangga, one of the Young Indonesian filmmakers who has made numerous clips for Indonesian artists, to produce the music video for Virdi’s “Pesona” single.
