Voxxes returned in mid-2023 with their latest work entitled “Zero Hour”. The band consisting of Qashmal Zhafari (vocals), Tanjung (keyboards), Abbyan (guitar), Rayhan Rizki/RR (producer), and Resky Eky (drums) released the album containing 10 songs with different titles. Almost all the songs on the album were written by Zhafari and produced by RR with ‘”Lemonade” is the highlight of Voxxes’ debut album.
The introductory album “Zero Hour” this time has a unique concept in many ways. The album itself, “Zero Hour”, is divided into two parts and offers two different shades likened to day and night. The two sides of the section are divided into the first 5 songs and the last 5 songs of the album. The purpose of this concept is to illustrate to the listener that the cycle of love and relationships does not always go smoothly and according to plan. Voxxes presents a joyful atmosphere and various feelings of happiness in the first five songs, while the last five songs are full of emotion and pain.
By carrying the big theme of the cycle of love and relationships that usually have phases with various nuances, the album “Zero Hour” tries to tell each phase of the relationship through each song. Voxxes is not only conceptually interesting, but on their first album, they also wanted to expand the color of the music by using electronic sounds from synthesizers, drums, and keys to display the feel of 80s pop music.

Although it took a relatively long time to produce, the album is the result of an independent production process, so the album ‘Zero Hour’ is not only a debut album for Voxxes, but also an experience and learning especially for the members of Voxxes in making and writing songs in full. Not only releasing an album, as part of the introduction, Voxxes is also planning a showcase of their debut album in August 2023.
