Bingkai Karya — After creating a strong musical connection through their previous collaboration, Akbar Chalay and Mingse reunite with a new single, “Kok Masih Rindu?”. Released on September 2026, the track continues their exploration of light, catchy, and humorous hipdut while presenting a more affectionate side of their chemistry. The song once again brings them together with songwriter Giant Prayash Trinanda.

The release follows the unexpected success of “Astaga Bercanda,” which was released on May 8, 2026 and grew beyond the expectations of a collaborative single. The track reached charts in Indonesia and Malaysia and gained attention across Southeast Asia. As of September 2, 2026, “Astaga Bercanda” remained at No. 2 on Spotify Top 50 Malaysia. Its sound also found its way into social media content from international names including Ellie Goulding, Mel B of Spice Girls, XngHan, and members of &TEAM.

Rather than simply recreating the formula behind their previous hit, Akbar Chalay and Mingse take their chemistry in a different direction through “Kok Masih Rindu?”. The new song draws inspiration from an everyday experience familiar to both artists: their affection for their respective partners. Despite their busy schedules and constant movement from one stage to another, the two are known to make time for video calls with their partners, even while travelling or preparing for performances.

That personal habit became part of the inspiration behind the song. “Kok Masih Rindu?” explores the idea that spending time with someone you love does not necessarily make the feeling of longing disappear. Its lyrics follow someone who looks for their partner in the morning, continues to miss them at night, and can still feel that something is missing even after they have met.

While “Astaga Bercanda” highlighted Akbar Chalay and Mingse through a playful and humorous take on romance, “Kok Masih Rindu?” reveals a more openly affectionate and relatable side of their personalities. The song transforms an ordinary feeling of missing someone into a lighthearted hipdut story that reflects the way love can remain present throughout everyday routines.

The track is performed by Akbar Chalay and Mingse, with composition by Giant Prayash Trinanda and Akbar Chalay. Akbar Chalay and Giant Prayash Trinanda also handle the production, while Giant Prayash Trinanda is responsible for the mix and master. The single is released under Glitch Haus and Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia and published by PT Glitch Haus Collective.

For Akbar Chalay, the release continues his identity as a producer from Bengkulu who has developed his musical presence through hipdut. His 2025 track “Ngga Dulu” has surpassed 82 million Spotify streams. Meanwhile, Mingse is the alter ego of Bunga Reyza, known to audiences from Indonesian Idol Season 12. Through Mingse, Bunga explores a bolder, playful, expressive persona while embracing the hipdut sound that has been familiar to her since childhood.
