Bingkai Karya – Jevin Julian expressing his love for music that he has been pursuing for 15 years. He mentioned this while introducing his latest album titled ‘i will, i’m sure’.
This album marks his third album after Samsara (2021) dan Jevin Julian (2019). ‘i will, i’m sure’ consists of 9 electro music, three of which are collaborations with other Indonesian musician such as Teza Sumendra, Sheryl Sheinafia, and Kara Chenoa.
“Teza adds his touch to the song ‘hard to leave’, Sheryl in the song ’20 50 (say that you love me)’, while Kara Chenoa contributes to the song ‘the a.m flow’. In this album, I also, along with Kara Chenoa and Greybox, served as composers and producers for several songs,” said Jevin in his written press release on Friday, April 26, 2024.
‘safe space’, listed as the 7th track on the album, is chosen as the focus track. The strong bass sound dominates this song. According to Jevin, this song highlights the importance of support from loved ones in their lives. “In life, there are always difficulties, and this song depicts the tranquility found in the embrace of loved ones, offering comfort and strength,” he said.
‘safe space’ and the songs on the album ‘i will, i’m sure’ are now available on all digital streaming platforms in Indonesia. The Official Visualizer for ‘safe space’ released on the same day can be enjoyed on Jevin Julian’s YouTube channel.
