Yura Yunita released a new music video for her first track from the “Tutur Batin” album, “Dunia Tipu-Tipu”. The music video was produced by Gianni Fajri and Bonita Rachel from MIURA Films. The concept of the music video was a social experience where 7 non-actor couples, including husband and wife, siblings, best friends, parents and children, stared at each other for 4 minutes and communicated honestly.
Yura believed that the more 2 people intensely met; moreover, lived together, the less they talked deeply. “I hope that with this social experience, (it) can bring a good urge to contact (their) parents or best friends later on,” said her. She wanted to not only represent her own feelings, but also represent many people’s.
She also admitted that the shooting experience emotionally made her tired yet so beautiful. “This is my first time doing a shoot from 1 to 11 p.m and we all cried. We were moved by how strong (the couple’s) bond is and it is as it is. All 7 couples made the whole team cry. For the first time in my life, I cried my eyes out for hours because of how beautiful a relationship was,” added her.
7 real pairs got involved in the music video. They sat in a dim room with hidden cameras. They stared at each other for 4 minutes with the “Dunia Tipu-Tipu” song playing in the background, and shot in a one-take only. Nabila Ghassani, a hypnotherapist, also helped the process by becoming a psychology consultant leading the couples.
“It is lovely to see the inner relationship of each pair,” said Nabila. “The power of a gaze can help them to feel and understand each other. No words, only through their inner self, an honest and pure emotion from their heart appears.”
Since the moment Yura dropped “Tutur Batin” song and music video, a behavior organically existed among the listeners. “Tutur Batin” is a song about imperfectness which then is used by many Tiktok users to express the same feeling, so her songs are acknowledged as representations of the listeners’ deep emotion. “Dunia Tipu-Tipu” music video is already out on Youtube.
