Bingkai Karya-MALIQ & D’Essentials released a new album titled “Can Machines Fall in Love?”. This album is their ninth album after the mini album “Raya” in 2021. It has two previously released singles among its seven tracks. It also include “Intro,” “Dadidu di Dada,” “Aduh,” “Terus Terang,” “Kita Bikin Romantis,” “Begini Begitu,” and “Hari Terakhir.”
The group MALIQ & D’Essentials, which consists of Jawa, Lale, Ilman Ibrahim, Indah Wisnuwardhana, Angga Puradiredja, and Widi Puradiredja, composed “Can Machines Fall in Love?” It took close to a year to produce the record. They put their entire body, soul, and love to every bit of this work.
During the Hearing Session Experience session at FLIX Cinema on May 7, 2024, they talked about the main differences in the production of this album. It is notably in the song lyrics and the choice of musical arrangements which flow smoothly.
The choice of the album name, he said again, is a manifestation of MALIQ’s personal experience while working on the album in the midst of technological advancements. One of them is the influence of AI (Artificial Intelligence) that can affect creativity, how to work, and how to produce music.

Ever since performing a solo concert in May of 2023, MALIQ has demonstrated a growing level of productivity. This year, they have a lot planned, besides a new record. The second song MALIQ D’Essentials has released since reuniting with Warner Music Indonesia is called “Kita Bikin Romantis.” It has been streamed more than 25 million times on Spotify.
MALIQ released their first to fourth albums with Warner Music Indonesia. Previously, several Warner Music Artists has performing some of of MALIQ’s hits. Some of them are “Untitled” by Rahmania Astrini, “Dia” by Eclat, “Terdiam” by Chintya Gabriella, “The One” by Jevin Julian, Kara Chenoa, and Jinan Laetitia, also “Heaven” by Rafi Sudirman.
