BingkaiKarya– In September, Jaz will surprise fans with his new single, “Boleh Merindu”. New Jaz single “Boleh Merindu”. On September 6, Aldi Nada Permana’s song will be released. Jaz collaborated with Sukabumi-born musician Aldi on Sinergi (2021) and Transisi (2022) songs.
Jaz says Aldi understands his music, therefore he wrote “Boleh Merindu.” My other songs sound like this. This song’s acoustic/mid-tempo tone is genre-new to me. Jaz calls it mature “Kasmaran”.
“As the title suggests, the song is about someone missing their loved ones”. Jaz shared that from the first time he heard the demo, he immediately loved the melody and lyrics. “I always choose songs that match my taste. When I listen to a demo, I look for parts that I like and that stick in my mind, and whether the lyrics are relatable. In this song, Aldi’s lyrics aren’t poetic but more like everyday language. That’s one of the unique aspects of “Boleh Merindu” that made me sure to choose it as my latest single.”
Creating “Boleh Merindu” in person and online took little time.Jaz recorded the vocals in a day, as he was familiar with Aldi’s work from their previous collaborations. Bowo Soulmate, a vocalist, accompanied Jaz as the voice director during the recording. “Working with Bowo is exciting as he directs vocals and writes songs, ensuring a seamless recording process for my new single”.

About the single
Jaz expects “Boleh Merindu” will be well-received, sharing a story with plain language rather than poetry, as with his earlier songs. “Of course, I hope this song can represent the feelings of those who are missing someone—not just their partner, but also their family. Living or working far away can definitely bring about deep feelings of longing for those we love, and this song can be a ‘companion’ when those feelings come,” Jaz said
Jaz said that “Boleh Merindu” will be one of nine tunes on his new album, Pesan Cinta, due out in November. “For now, I can only say that the procedure has been pretty swift. Please continue smoothly until the November record release. With this record, I plan to experiment and explore new ideas. Known for singing pop songs, I’ll be teaming with other musicians on a ballad. Going to be like? In November, we’ll see,” Jaz said.
