The thrilling song, which is part of a high-energy K-pop album, has G-DRAGON’s unmistakable vocals cutting over catchy beats.”POWER” represents music, says G-DRAGON.
Co-written by Tommy “TB Hits” Brown, Theron Thomas, Steven Franks, and G-DRAGON, “POWER” is his first solo release since his 2017 EP, ‘KWON JI YONG’. With that EP, he became the first Korean musician to top the Billboard World Albums chart and Japan’s Oricon digital chart. “G-DRAGON is an icon of culture that has laid the foundation for K-Pop’s global supremacy,” says Empire founder/CEO Ghazi. “This partnership supports our mission at EMPIRE to work alongside artists that will shape the future of global music.”

He appeared on Elle Korea, Harper’s Bazaar Korea, Vogue Korea, Hypebeast, and others’ covers and pages after winning World’s Best Album at the 2014 World Music Awards. G-DRAGON has now launched PEACEMINUSONE, a streetwear brand, and modeled for Chanel, Nike, and BMW. His highest fanbase is in Indonesia, followed by Malaysia at #3, Vietnam at #4, Thailand at #6, the Philippines at #9, and Taiwan at #10.
He joined Frieze Seoul’s Now & Next artist series last year and was selected to ArtNet’s Top 200 Art Collectors list in 2019. He founded JUSPEACE, a charity to fight substance misuse in South Korea, and is collaborating with French fragrance Frédéric Malle on a perfume this year.
