Bingkai Karya – VIBY, the five-member Japanese boy group, officially releases its third digital single, “Gotcha”, on August 5, 2026, at 00:00 local time. Sung in Japanese and rooted in pop, the new single arrives ahead of the group’s highly anticipated VIBY DEBUT SHOWCASE “VIBY LAND” at Nippon Budokan on August 31, making it a significant moment in the group’s rapidly developing journey.
Dedicated to TOMO, VIBY’s fan community, “Gotcha” transforms the experience of discovering an artist into a celebration of connection. The song captures the excitement of finally finding people who make you feel that you belong, turning what may begin as a chance encounter into something that feels meaningful and destined.
The title itself carries a playful double meaning. “Gotcha” can express “I found you” or “I’ve got you,” while also drawing inspiration from the excitement of a gachapon capsule toy, where an unexpected moment can lead to exactly the encounter someone hoped for. This idea becomes the emotional foundation of the song, celebrating the moment when VIBY and TOMO found one another.
Musically, “Gotcha” embraces VIBY’s “Feel Good Pop” identity. Built around an energetic dance beat, catchy melodies, refreshing guitar tones, and polished synths, the track delivers a bright and effortless summer atmosphere.
