Bingkai KaryaVIBY, the five-member Japanese boy group, officially releases its third digital single, “Gotcha”, on August 5, 2026, at 00:00 local time. Sung in Japanese and rooted in pop, the new single arrives ahead of the group’s highly anticipated VIBY DEBUT SHOWCASE “VIBY LAND” at Nippon Budokan on August 31, making it a significant moment in the group’s rapidly developing journey.

Dedicated to TOMO, VIBY’s fan community, “Gotcha” transforms the experience of discovering an artist into a celebration of connection. The song captures the excitement of finally finding people who make you feel that you belong, turning what may begin as a chance encounter into something that feels meaningful and destined.

The title itself carries a playful double meaning. “Gotcha” can express “I found you” or “I’ve got you,” while also drawing inspiration from the excitement of a gachapon capsule toy, where an unexpected moment can lead to exactly the encounter someone hoped for. This idea becomes the emotional foundation of the song, celebrating the moment when VIBY and TOMO found one another.

Musically, “Gotcha” embraces VIBY’s “Feel Good Pop” identity. Built around an energetic dance beat, catchy melodies, refreshing guitar tones, and polished synths, the track delivers a bright and effortless summer atmosphere. More than a conventional fan song, it serves as an invitation for TOMO to celebrate alongside VIBY, reflecting the shared excitement of journeys that began in different places but ultimately converged.

The accompanying music video expands the song’s concept through a playful adventure at Hokkaido Greenland, where a newly opened amusement park named “VIBY LAND” becomes the setting. The five members embark on a mission to find “TOMO the puppy,” leading them toward a fateful meeting with TOMO. The story ultimately builds toward a simple promise of friendship and togetherness.

“‘Gotcha’ is a fan song from all of us in VIBY to everyone in TOMO. It’s our way of saying thank you, for finding each of you, and for the five of us finding each other as a group,” member IO shares. He adds that the song represents the beginning of the story leading toward their Nippon Budokan debut showcase, “VIBY LAND.”

As VIBY prepares to take the stage at Nippon Budokan on August 31, “Gotcha” is set to become a defining part of the occasion. With its infectious energy and heartfelt message, the single celebrates the unexpected connections that can shape a journey and invites VIBY and TOMO to continue that journey together.
