Bingkai Karya – Thai artist pami returns with her latest single, “loser,” a bittersweet exploration of modern teenage romance and the difficult choice between holding on and letting go. The song follows someone who remains in an on-and-off relationship despite knowing the other person is not genuine, choosing disappointment over the loneliness that may come with leaving.
Co-written by Jett Blyton and pami, with Maribelle serving as producer, “loser” first took shape during a songwriting camp in Australia. The demo was written and produced in just one day, emerging from a conversation between the two songwriters about their experiences with unhealthy and disappointing relationships. That shared perspective became the emotional foundation of the song.
At its core, “loser” captures the uncertainty of a situationship where feelings remain strong while commitment stays out of reach. Rather than presenting heartbreak as a clean decision to walk away, the song focuses on the more complicated reality of recognising an unhealthy pattern yet continuing to stay. For its central character, holding on means accepting repeated disappointment in exchange for feeling a little less alone.
The song reflects pami’s signature approach to storytelling, turning personal experiences and quiet emotional struggles into intimate musical spaces. A rising bedroom-pop and indie singer-songwriter from Phuket, Thailand, pami is known for her diarist lyricism and atmospheric melodies, creating music that connects with listeners through vulnerability and honesty.
Since debuting under Juicey in 2024, pami has released a six-song EP and followed it with her debut full-length album puffette in 2025. Her growing regional and international presence has included recognition as a Spotify RADAR artist, a performance at Indonesia’s LaLaLa Festival, and critical acclaim at Thailand’s TOTY Music Awards. Her music has also surpassed 12 million global streams, with 2.1 million total Spotify listeners and more than 300,000 playlist adds.
Following 2026 releases “cry jar” and “all in,” pami continues into an ambitious new chapter. Her momentum has expanded through a headline East Asia tour across South Korea, Japan, and China in September 2026, further establishing her growing presence beyond Southeast Asia.
With “loser,” pami offers an honest portrait of the moments when knowing better does not necessarily make leaving easier. Listen to “loser” and discover pami’s latest chapter through her intimate take on modern love and loneliness.
