
Rupiah’s exchange rate to the US dollar reached Rp15,707 on November 7, 2022. The value of the Garuda currency increased by 30 points, or 0.19%, from the previous trade. Meanwhile, the reference rate of Bank Indonesia (BI), The Jakarta Interbank Spot Dollar Rate (Jisdor) puts rupiah at Rp. 15,692 per US dollar.
Economic growth in the 3rd quarter of 2022 was also supported by an increase in community activity, which was held back by the PPKM policy during the COVID-19 pandemic. The increase in community activity was reflected in the arrival of foreign tourists, which grew by 10,764.29% year on year.

Different movements of currencies were noticed in the Asian region. Thai Baht increased 1.12%, Philippine Peso decreased 0.15%, South Korean Won strengthened 1.22%, and Chinese Yuan decreased by 0.65%, while Japanese Yen lost 0.25% of its value.
The majority of major developed countries’ currencies are in the green zone. European Euro was up 0.12%, British Pound was up 0.12% and Swiss Franc was up 0.14%. Then, Australian Dollar weakened 0.40%, and Canadian Dollar weakened 0.19%.
