Olivia Rodrigo won with ‘Drivers License’, beating Justin Bieber with ‘Anyone’, Brandi Carlile with ‘Right on Time’, Billie Eiliesh with ‘Happier Than Ever’, and Ariana Grande with ‘Positions’.
- Best Rock Performance
Foo Fighters with ‘Making a Fire’ won this category over other nominees like Deftones with ‘Ohms’, Chris Cornell with ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’, Black Pumas with ‘Know You Better (Live From Capitol Studio A)’ and AC/DC with ‘Shot in the Dark’.
- Best R&B Performance
Since the result is tie, Silk Sonic with ‘Leave the Door Open’ and Jazmine Sullivan with ‘Pick Up Your Feelings’ together won the category over Snoh Aalegra with ‘Lost You’, Justin Bieber featuring Daniel Cesar and Giveon with ‘Peaches’, HER with ‘Damage’.
- Best Rap Song
Kanye West featuring Jay-Z won the category with ‘Jail’, beating DMX featuring Jay-Z and Nas with ‘Bath Salts’, Saweetie featuring Doja Cat with ‘Best Friend’, Baby Keem featuring Kendrick Lamar with ‘Family Ties’ and J Cole featuring 21 Savage & Morray with ‘My Life’.
Silk Sonic also succeeded to win Song of The Year and Record of The Year categories with their viral song ‘Leave The Door Open’. Jon Batiste won the Album of the Year category with ‘We Are’. Olivia Rodrigo gets two other awards which are Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album.
