Bingkai Karya – After nearly a decade without a full length studio album, a long awaited return arrives through ‘Last Night On Earth’, the latest release from Canadian multi platinum rock band Finger Eleven. Released via Better Noise Music, the album marks their seventh studio record and their first collaboration with the label.
Alongside the album launch, Finger Eleven also unveiled their newest single, “The Mountain,” a four minute epic that serves as the fourth single from the record. The track explores themes of creative journeys and the search for new inspiration, using fantasy driven imagery to reflect the band’s own musical evolution. Vocalist Scott Anderson explains that the song’s narrative mirrors how the band views their creative process.
During the album’s creation, Finger Eleven drew inspiration from artists such as Phil Collins and Genesis, particularly in shaping the album’s strong melodic foundation. Guitarist Rick Jackett describes the project as a return to the “big rock sound” that defined the band’s early years, blending classic influences with a renewed sense of energy.
Prior to the album’s release, Finger Eleven introduced three singles that showcased the range of ‘Last Night On Earth’. The title track, “Last Night On Earth,” presents an acoustic driven reflection on relationship conflict. “Blue Sky Mystery,” a collaboration with Richard Patrick of Filter, broke into the Canadian Top 10 radio charts. Meanwhile, “Adrenaline” delivered high powered rock energy, reaching the Top 20 on the Mediabase Active Rock Chart and spending extended time in the Top 5 Karaoke Charts.
Formed in Burlington, Ontario, Finger Eleven rose to prominence with a string of successful albums and global hits such as “One Thing” and “Paralyzer.” Over the course of their career, the band has earned multiple accolades, including a Juno Award for Rock Album of the Year, and continues to be recognized as one of Canada’s most influential rock acts.
In support of ‘Last Night On Earth’, Finger Eleven has embarked on a nationwide Canadian tour starting November 25, with plans to extend their tour to the United States in 2026.
