Afgan and Lyodra joined forces for their latest single “Ada”. Afgan showcases his songwriting prowess by conveying his feelings about a close friend’s relationship ending.
Their collaboration took shape in 2023 when Afgan and Lyodra connected on social media and discovered their shared desire to collaborate on a song. Interestingly, Afgan had initially forgotten about “Ada,” a song he had written years ago, until it resurfaced during their conversation.
“Afgan and I were on the lookout for a suitable song to collaborate on, but we couldn’t find the right fit. Eventually, I reminded Afgan about ‘Ada,’ a song he had penned three years ago. I listened to it, and I instantly fell in love with it. It turned out that the song had perfect timing and sounded even more magical when sung together,” explained Afgan.
During the recording process, Afgan closely guided Lyodra’s vocal performance, aiming to infuse the song with a blend of melancholy and hope. He praised Lyodra’s willingness to explore and her delightful personality, making him confident that she was the ideal collaborator for this song.

The music video for “Ada” was shot in the beautiful setting of Tulamben, Bali, and was skillfully directed by Bramsky. Afgan and Lyodra played pivotal roles in discussions about everything, from the video’s concept to its visual tone. Despite Lyodra falling ill and nearly fainting during the shoot, the process went smoothly.
“Afgan is a delightful and incredibly humble partner. We had extensive discussions about ‘Ada,’ from its inception right up to the song’s release, covering everything from the recording process to the music video. Afgan allowed my creative instincts to explore whatever I wanted, and he was incredibly supportive. The recording process was enjoyable because he was there with me, guiding me along the way. I hope that ‘Ada’ resonates with many people. Remember, whatever you may face, you will always be together. May your journey be made smoother towards being better together. Enjoy listening to ‘Ada’ on all digital platforms!” said Lyodra.
