Bingkai Karya– In celebration of World Mental Health Day, which is observed on October 10 each year, Afgan performed his hit song “Untukmu Aku Bertahan” live with an orchestra. Originally featured on the 2013 album L1ve to Love, the song now has a more royal atmosphere thanks to a magnificent orchestra during the Afgan Live in Concert in Kuala Lumpur on December 2, 2023.
According to Afgan, the song “Untukmu Aku Bertahan” is currently more frequently interpreted in relation to what we wish to express to our loved ones. In reality, though, this song is a message to Afgan.
“The lesson is to never give up through all of life’s challenges and hardships. Have faith that everything we experience is necessary for a reason. When we acknowledge it, we may discover a lot about ourselves, begin to love and value ourselves, and most importantly, value our lives despite all of their flaws,” Afgan stated.
The Highlight
Afgan also highlighted the significance of protecting mental health at this World Mental Health Day celebration. “We can better care for the people we care about when we look after ourselves and keep our mental health in check. To achieve balance and tranquility in our lives on a daily basis, there are numerous methods available today, such as going to therapy, engaging in mindfulness exercises, or practicing meditation,” he continued.
Afgan hopes that by releasing the live orchestra version of “Untukmu Aku Bertahan,” listeners would be able to sing the song to themselves and take in the message about how important survival and self-love are.
