Bingkai Karya-After 17 years of being known for his ballads, Afgan has released two English-language mini-albums with strong R&B and Pop influences, titled “Wallflower” and “Sonder.” “Sonder,” which came out last June, features a collaboration with South Korean artist Jessi. The album quickly gained attention on social media and digital platforms.
Following the release of “Sonder,” Afgan has been doing his album tour. He began this tour in February 2024 with three sold-out shows in New York and Los Angeles. Then, in June, he took his tour to Seoul for his first intimate concert in Asia. This event took place at the Assa Performing Art Hall. Also featured a performance by Dita Karang from the girl group Secret Number.
Kuala Lumpur was the next stop for the “Sonder” tour. On August 11, 2024, at The Bee, Publika, around 400 fans enjoyed a special and personal show from Afgan. He was thrilled to offer a fresh performance and a unique experience for his fans. With stops in New York, Los Angeles, Seoul, and Kuala Lumpur already wrapped up, Afgan is now gearing up for the “Sonder Asia Tour” in Jakarta and Singapore.
The Jakarta concert is set for September 7, 2024, at M-Bloc Space, and it promises to be an intimate and memorable event for Afgan’s fans. The Singapore show will follow on September 13, 2024, at The Star Gallery.

This global project is very exciting for Afgan because it not only allows him to learn about production from experts and international collaborators but also to discover new fans of his music. He is also looking forward to meeting the local media in these countries and holding sharing sessions with the younger generation.
