Bingkai Karya– RAN released Rahasia #1 and #2 in early September 2024. “Teater Nestapa”, the most recent endeavor of RAN, was initiated by both individuals. The 2016 self-titled RAN album was followed by this sixth album eight years later. Nino Kayam immediately explained, “Eight years in our opinion is too long for a group not to release an album.”
For this reason, Asta Andoko, Rayi Putra, and the trio wrote eleven “Teater Nestapa” songs. It was approached from a different perspective. “Teater Nestapa” contrasts with RAN’s lyrical love melodies. The eleven songs on Nestapa reveal the reverse side of love, which we frequently ignore because it’s challenging.
“We believe that a good number of individuals recognize that nestapa is an essential component of life. We want everyone to agree.” Asta said Nestapa promotes happiness assessment. When heard in its entirety, Teater Nestapa provides a complete picture of cardiac patients’ struggles and inquiries.
To stress humanity. Nino: Love is greater than 1+1 = 2. He added, “Misfortune teaches happiness. Probably what to do, determine, or do after a calamity. How do we react. RAN also uses a novel approach. Instead of just cooking, they collaborated with several music producers for this record. This CD showcases alternative arrangement and sonic exploration.Many producers were chosen to offer varied exploration opportunities. Asta said, “We make music for some songs.”
Rayi continued, “We believe that some songs are not best performed alone. It would resemble ancient RAN. To sound more modern, we sought co-production help.” RAN can choose the right collaborators to realize their ideas as an established band. The “Teater Nestapa” production process shows this. ” We are grateful for your adaptability. We have a clear vision for each project we take on. No limitations allow us to realize that vision,” says Asta.
Nino says, “I think now is the time to engage with RAN-savvy producers. They know some RAN DNA. We believe new flavors won’t mess with RAN’s core. “Teater Nestapa” was created through less-boring seminars.Three RAN members left Jakarta for new surroundings.
About This Album
“We toured Bogor and Bali mansions.” Rayi said they did hard workshops for 2-3 days in each destination despite gigging and other personal obligations. “Perhaps this is an exciting activity that helps us explore music and indirectly mature in this album. ‘It’s alright to withdraw for a time from the commotion of the city to calm down,’ we naively agreed.”Nino stated they finished Teater Nestapa to avoid boredom.
On this album, RAN featured Salma Salsabil on Hey!, multiple producers, and an unusual method. Hold on. The tune is completed and colored by her voice. Rayi: Three of us could have done it, but she’s the missing component that makes this song good.
Theater Nestapa has a visual orchestra. As per film premise. The eight-minute trailer debuted on YouTube on October 8, 2024. Senry Alvin directed, Aco Tenriyagelli authored, and Reza Rahadian starred in this short.This film includes all Teater Nestapa songs.
Teater Nestapa also plans well. “We want to showcase this album,” Rayi said. “Maybe also a tour, a movie and some other ideas,” Nino suggests.
