Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan, Indonesian badminton men’s doubles pair appeared on the New York Times Square Billboard. Their appearance on one of the iconic billboards in Times Square, New York, United States, was part of the 55th anniversary celebration of badminton equipment manufacturer, Victor.
This phenomenon immediately shocked fans. A lot of them showed their support in social media. Some of them even showed admiration for those pairs. However, the one that is shown on the billboard is not only Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan but there are also the pictures of Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti, Indonesian badminton women’s doubles pair, as both those pairs are the brand ambassador for Victor.

Now apart from their appearance and the fans’ rowdiness, currently both of them are preparing for the All England Open Tournament 2023. The All England 2023 is a BWF World Tour Super 1000 category badminton tournament that provides a total prize of USD 1.25 million or around IDR 19.3 billion. Currently, the All England Open is the world’s oldest badminton tournament. The All England Open 2023 itself will be held in Birmingham, England on 14 – 19 March 2023.
In the All England 2023 men’s doubles section, Ahsan/Hendra aka The Daddies are seeded number three. In the first round, Ahsan/Hendra will immediately face fellow Indonesian representatives, Pramudya Kusumawardana/Jeremia Rambitan. Meanwhile, Apriyani Rahayu/Dewi Fadia Silva Ramadhanti became the 8th seed in the women’s doubles section.
