Allan Andersn Is Forlorn of Letting Go in “dear aa”

Allan Andersn, the former vocalist of a group called “2nd Chance”, has started his solo career by releasing his third single titled “dear aa”. The single was written by Allan Andersn himself, Talitha El Brasa, and Key B.

“dear aa” tells a story about a desperate feeling of letting go and getting over a long-wrecked relationship. Not only telling his thoughts and stories, Allan Andersn also asked Key B.’s  to soar her own story into the song through her verse. Key B.’s verse narrates her story about her acceptance of the doomed relationship. But still, she still wishes all the best and beautiful things to happen to the person she let go even though their life path crosses differently.

Even though the two stories of Allan Andersn and Key B. are different, the two different stories share a pretty similar moral of the story. The stories tell you about how to cope with the failure of a relationship you are in. It’s about how you overcome the insurmountable grief you felt and turn it into lessons that might make you a better person.

On the other hand, the fact is that “dear aa” is originally a letter from Allan to himself. It meant to tell the past Allan on how he really felt and how to deal with the pain and grief he felt throughout his heartbreak journey. So the title he chose for the song, “dear aa”, is the abbreviation of his name, Allan Andersn.

After Key B. joined the songwriting and sang some part of the verses, they decided to kept the title “dear aa” and changed the meaning behind the abbreviation to “Allan Andita”, since Key B.’s birth name is “Anindita”
