Cecil released the album “Equal” that was born out of her desire and also from the various stories of hip-hop and rap music in the Indonesian music scene. She wanted to use this same album to share her story because many people misunderstood her decision to enter the rap music industry.
“(The reason) why it’s called “Equal” is because I don’t feel like I’m a person or part of a community, but as an individual, I want to always support the things and actions that the community does. As a woman, I feel like I have a lot of feminine qualities around me. But that also means that there are always a lot of possibilities in life, and everything is going to happen as long as I live my life to the best of my ability”, says Cecil about the “Equal” album.
Cecil states that she doesn’t need others to speak for her and believes that she is a mature girl who is confident that she is capable and can speak in public. By not looking and seeing what her past was like. Cecil believes that no matter what a person’s past is like, as long as they know and acknowledge what happened in the past, then the future will be better, so why should we ridicule someone who will become someone better? That is also what Cecil believes in with EQUAL.

The album “Equal” and the single “Qveen” tell the story that most people tell Cecil that they are afraid to join a big group because it will make them feel nervous or uncomfortable. Cecil wants to share this album with everyone so that more listeners can listen to it and feel it.
“I have no one to blame but myself because I am only responsible for myself. So I know that by releasing this album, I have taken a step forward, and by releasing this album, I hope I can entertain people. Even if I can’t make them stop crying when listening to one of the songs on this album, at least let me cry with them. I hope one of these six tracks can be the best track for the future”, said Cecil.
