Charlotte Sands Poured Her Emotion in “Alright”

Charlotte Sands is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter from Hopkinton, MA. Recently, she released an emotional pop single, titled “Alright”. Charlotte Sands explains that through writing ‘Alright,’ she makes choices for her future self like the light at the end of the tunnel, and now she’s in that light. She wrote this song hoping to remind just one person that life goes on and nothing lasts forever. (Alprazolam)

She also has always felt like a lone wolf outside her beloved family home. She was eager to fit in during school but aimlessly drifted on the fringes of social circles. But today, the electric blue-haired artist seems to be a life raft for Gen Z and beyond, who are plagued with anxiety. Her song is about her feelings.

Many first discovered Charlotte in 2020 on TikTok through her social media leaked single, “Dress”. The song is refreshing for those of you who are uptight about Harry Styles wearing a dress on the cover of Vogue magazine. “Dress” found itself on the US Pop Charts for 10 weeks and played internationally on more than 200 multi-format stations, making it one of the biggest independent stories of the year. To date, “Dress” has amassed over 35 million streams.

MTV called 2022 a “banner year” for Charlotte Sands, and it’s easy to see why. She played 103 shows, including opening summer national and international tours for such big-name acts as YUNGBLUD, My Chemical Romance (to a crowd of 32,000), and The Maine; a fall tour across North America with many sold out shows; and festival performances at Bonnaroo, Forecastle, Austin City Limits, South by Southwest, So What!, Boston Calling, and Riot Fest. Now, 2023 is ready with a series of stage and tour agendas
