Bingkai Karya– Clara Riva, a 2024 Indonesian Music Award nominee for Best Pop Songwriter, returns with “Alasan Klasik”. Clara Riva’s current piece continues her previous single’s story. “Previously I told a story about devastating loss, for this latest single I want to make a story about a strong girl. So ‘Classic Reason’ is a follow-up story to my prior songs, ” she said.
Clara Riva’s upfront lyrics like ‘I love but don’t want to be fooled’’ and ‘You’re a love picker, an affection I’ve thrown away on purpose’ represent her strong girl persona. Clara Riva recruited Barsena Bestandhi as Vocal Director and Dimas Pradipta for Mixing & Mastering for this ‘Classic Reason’.
Despite Clara Riva’s songs being classified as Pop Ballads, she remarked that happiness always arrives later. “I’ll be happy later,” Clara laughed. Clara Riva hopes her heartfelt song ‘Classic Reason’ will touch listeners. “I also hope many people will know my works and listen to my songs,” she hopes. “Don’t get bored with my works,” she concludes.
