Elon Musk Changes Twitter Logo To Dogecoin

Elon Musk is currently being discussed because of his current action. He changed Twitter’s iconic bird logo to a Shiba Inu dog logo used as the Dogecoin emblem on April 2, 2023. This logo itself is part of the Dogecoin blockchain and cryptocurrency logo, which was created as a joke in 2013.

This logo appears on the front page of Twitter.com. Twitter users will find this logo in the top-left corner, where it usually displays the blue bird logo when the Twitter app is opened via the website.

Elon Musk  is even known as an “influencer” of the Dogecoin cryptocurrency, because his tweets often influence the price of Doge.

One of them was seen when Elon uploaded a tweet about Dogecoin in 2021. When the tweet went up, within 24 hours, the price of Dogecoin shot from USD 0.048356 to USD 0.065448. This increase is at the same time the highest price the cryptocurrency has ever experienced.

Besides that, Musk once also made the price of Dogecoin increase by up to 59% after he uploaded a picture of a SpaceX rocket in the air followed by an upload saying “Doge”.

When the Twitter logo was replaced, many Twitter users went back to discussing the Tweets Elon wrote before he bought Twitter. In that post, Elon “joked” about replacing the Twitter logo with the Dogecoin logo.

Until now, there has been no confirmation as to why Elon Musk changed the Twitter logo, but Elon Musk is known to be a big fan of the cryptocurrency. He has promoted Dogecoin several times through his Twitter account and it is not uncommon for the tweets he uploads to increase the price of it.

Due to this change in the Twitter logo, the value of the Dogecoin cryptocurrency reportedly rose again by more than 20 percent. The keyword ‘Doge’ has also returned to trending worldwide on Twitter with nearly 300,000 tweets.
