Bingkai Karya – SHAUN, the singer-songwriter and producer who has amassed over 1.9 billion streams globally, officially released his latest EP, ‘LAST PAGE’, on April 30. As a deeply personal project, ‘LAST PAGE’ weaves together memories and SHAUN’s musical journey through a broader spectrum of sound. Moving away from the pop style that previously defined his music, SHAUN now embraces a more profound approach by highlighting rock-inspired band sounds. This transformation marks a significant evolution in his career while also reflecting his musical roots as a former band member, now revived in a more mature and refined form.
The EP features five tracks that showcase SHAUN’s signature musicality and sincere emotional delivery. The track title, “Out of Control”, stands out with its distinctive title and rich, explosive arrangement, demonstrating SHAUN’s increasingly expansive and dynamic musical spectrum. Beyond that, ‘LAST PAGE’ serves as the conclusion to the pre-release trilogy that has built anticipation over the past few months. The journey began with the powerful band energy of “Pixels”, continued with the dreamy and emotional atmosphere of “Night Walk”, and unfolded further through the personal reflections found in “Diary”. Together, these tracks are now fully connected as one complete body of work within ‘LAST PAGE’.
Since embarking on his path as an independent self-producing artist, SHAUN has taken full control of his creative process, allowing him to tell more honest and personal stories through his music. He also continues to stay closely connected with fans through various platforms, including Naver Chzzk and online concerts.
To celebrate the release, SHAUN is scheduled to hold a solo concert on May 10 at Sinchon Wonderloc Hall. The concert will feature a full live band format, offering a more intimate musical experience while serving as a stage for SHAUN to perform his new song life for fans. SHAUN’s latest EP, ‘LAST PAGE’, is now available on all global music streaming platforms.
