Bingkai Karya — Acclaimed French multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and producer FKJ has unveiled ‘Tyber’, his highly anticipated third studio album. Released after years of movement, solitude, collaboration and creative renewal, the 12-track record brings together electronic music, jazz, soul and live instrumentation, reflecting FKJ’s increasingly expansive and instinctive approach to music.
Across 12 tracks, FKJ combines piano, drums, saxophone, percussion, bass, guitar, synthesizers and electronic production. Rather than overshadowing the feeling of live musicianship, his detailed production and electronic manipulation are used to heighten it. The result is an album that moves freely between different musical spaces while remaining connected through intricate arrangements, improvisation and texture.
‘Tyber’ was written and recorded across London, Los Angeles, Paris, Brazil and Mexico, allowing the changing environments around FKJ to become part of the album’s creative process. The record has also been introduced through a series of singles, beginning with “Soulmates”, alongside exclusive listening parties in locations including Taiwan and Indonesia.
The album features a diverse group of collaborators, including Baby Rose, Eryn Allen Kane, Bas, Labrinth and Lucy Park. Eryn Allen Kane appears on “I Want U”, Bas reunites with FKJ on “Heavy Heart”, while Labrinth contributes to “Little Little Voice” and Lucy Park features on “How Much Does It Take To Shift It All”. Baby Rose joins FKJ on “Burst”, with each collaborator bringing a distinct energy to the album while complementing its foundation in live musicianship.
Beyond the music, the world of ‘Tyber’ extends into a series of cinematic live films shot in Japan, following FKJ as he performs while travelling through space aboard a spaceship. The visual concept draws from his otherworldly home studio and reflects the album’s recurring themes of movement, transformation and change.
For FKJ, ‘Tyber’ represents a document of self-discovery following ‘V I N C E N T’, moving through funk, jazz, rock, alt-pop and R&B while capturing different stages of his creative journey. He describes each track as a snapshot of a particular moment, with balance, connection and shared creative intent serving as recurring themes throughout the record.
Following the album’s release, FKJ will embark on an extensive headline world tour across Europe, North America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. His Asia dates include Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and Taipei between November and December 2026.
