On April 2, 2023, she faced India’s representative Pusarla Venkata (PV) Sindhu. Gregoria won two straight games with a landslide score of 21-8, 21-8 in 29 minutes at the Centro Deportivo Municipal Gallur in Madrid, Spain. This victory with a twin score became her first BWF world tour title. Moreover, this was Gregoria’s first win over PV Sindhu, who she had previously defeated seven times.

After dominating and excelling at the start of the first game, they lost momentum when they reached a critical point and were defeated 20-22, 18-21 in 46 minutes.
