Japanese singer-songwriter HIRADAI Unveils the 6th “LUCKY BAG” series EP “Boku ga zutto hoshikatta”

Bingkai KaryaHIRAIDAI, a Japanese singer-songwriter, has been releasing a series of monthly EPs titled “LUCKY BAG” since June. Each EP contains a combination of new songs, past songs that HIRADAI has selected to complement the new ones, and occasionally home recordings that were recorded in a single take on an iPhone.

On Wednesday, October 30, the sixth EP in the series, “Boku ga zutto hoshikatta mono,” was released digitally.

The sixth EP features the title track “Boku ga zutto hoshikatta mono,” which translates to “The thing I’ve always wanted,” as well as a demo recording and a selection of past songs. HIRAIDAI selected all of the songs with the theme of “songs that make you feel lovely in the everyday moment of you.”

The EP also features the ballad “Moshimo boku ga inakutemo,” which is an ode to “future family,” and the heartwarming mid-tempo tune “LOVE, SO GOOD.” The song’s tear-jerking music video, which was created using flipbook animation, garnered significant attention from music fans upon its initial release.

The EP’s six jewels also include ‘Remember The Days~Kimi to no ashiato~(Home Rec Demo)’, a home recording of a song from HIRAIDAI. The subject of the October “LUCKY BAG” is “songs that evoke a sense of beauty in the mundane moments of your life.”
