About Joan

Joan (Alan Benjamin Thomas and Steven Rutherford) have spent the last few years building their world, one tour date after another, tour date after tour date; from their Debut EP, 2019 portrait, for much loved cloudy & its partly cloudy sister EP, to the EP hi & bye 2021. Their songs have been streamed over 150 million times, with over a million listeners per month across streaming platforms.

Joan has enjoyed touring the US and internationally supporting the likes of Jeremy Zucker, COIN, Bloc Party and The Aces, as well as playing for fans across Asia. With major shows and festivals in the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore and Hong Kong, they’re back in Asia for the biggest show ever, including a date at a basketball arena and an amusement park.

Joan misses their community where they interact through a successful Patreon page and through free meet & greets at every show. 2023 promises to be the biggest band ever, with the release of their debut album and worldwide tours & festivals.
