Kara Chenoa released an EP or mini-album “Green Banana”. This EP contains 5 songs in English, and 2 songs are collaborations with other musicians. He collabed with Monica Karina in “Please Don’t Find Closure”, and Filipino musician Jason Dhakal in “Lifetime”.
Kara revealed the reason why the EP is titled “Green Banana” is that he saw himself as a “banana trying to ripen and turn yellow”. He felt like he was still far from being mature and sought to continuously grow. The EP revolves around personal growth in various aspects, including love and its realities.
One of the latest songs on the EP is “Lifetime,” a collaboration with Filipino musician Jason Dhakal. Kara Chenoa wrote the song with Jason Dhakal and entrusted Kenny Gabriel as the producer. The track has a duration of 3 minutes and 36 seconds.
According to Kara, the song is about the innocence of youth. He said, “As we grow older, we become more realistic, but when we talk about love, nothing is impossible.”
Collaborating with Jason Dhakal was a dream come true for Kara, as he had admired him for a long time. Kara’s dream became a reality when Jason liked the music demo he sent. The recording was done in Indonesia.

“I’ve been a big fan of Jason Dhakal since his first EP, and I really wanted to work with him someday. I contacted his team and sent the demo. The connection was just there; it felt effortless, and Jason is such a rare talent. Just like that, magic,” he added.
“Green Banana” is now available on all digital streaming platforms in Indonesia.
