Kunto Aji has a special surprise for his fans who have been waiting for a new album after “Mantra Mantra” touched the hearts and ears of listeners across Indonesia five years ago. Through an intimate listening session event called Sowan Album III, Kunto Aji gave fans a chance to hear his third album, whose title and details are still under wraps.
Organized by Rancang Rencana Production, Sowan Album III will take place over four sessions at Studio Gripa, South Jakarta, with one session per day on 31 August and 1 September and two sessions on 2 September. Only 100 tickets are available per session, which is sold through Loket.com starting August 11, 2023 at 11:00 WIB. Sowan Album III will open with a silent listening segment where each attendee wears headphones provided specifically for this event so that they can listen to the album more intently together. After listening to the album together, there will be a talk segment where Kunto Aji will talk about his album and listen to the responses from the listeners. Finally, Kunto Aji will present songs from his third album on stage for the first time. Or rather, trying to present the songs on stage.
It is certain that Sowan Album III will be a special moment that also begins a new chapter in Kunto Aji’s musical journey after the Generation Y (2015) and Mantra Mantra (2018) albums established him as an artist to be reckoned with. For the event, Kunto Aji has only one expectation. “At this event, people can appreciate the album as a whole, and will have a good experience. That includes my satisfaction as an artist.” he said.
