Bingkai Karya – Japanese R&B artist SIRUP has unveiled the music video for his latest digital single “Not AI”, a groove-driven dance track exploring what it means to stay human in an increasingly AI-dominated world.
Built around the theme of emotional authenticity in the digital age, “Not AI” presents a direct yet uplifting message about the value of human emotion, instinct, and individuality, the kinds of “vibes” that technology can never truly generate.
Blending SIRUP’s signature smooth vocals with infectious hooks and sleek production, the track transforms a distinctly modern theme into an energetic pop experience.
The song was created alongside an international team of producers and songwriters including ALYSA, A.G.O, Jacob Aaron, and JYONGRI, resulting in a high-energy dance tune packed with groove, emotion, and replay value.
The music video was directed by maxilla, who also designed the single’s cover artwork. Set on a futuristic spaceship populated by AI robots, the visual follows SIRUP trapped inside a repetitive and emotionless routine before gradually rediscovering his freedom, emotion, and humanity.
Expanding from personal emotion into a larger cosmic-scale narrative, the music video visualizes the concept of “un-generatable vibes”, impulses, desires, and emotional nuances unique to human existence.
Alongside the release, SIRUP also announced that the vinyl edition of his 3rd album ‘OWARI DIARY’ will be released on June 13. The special edition comes as a limited splatter-color 1LP featuring a gatefold jacket and exclusive A2 poster.
At the same time, SIRUP is preparing to kick off his upcoming Asia tour, SIRUP ASIA TOUR 2026 “TURN THE PAGE IN ASIA”, beginning this June.
The tour serves as the Asia continuation of SIRUP LIVE HOUSE TOUR 2026 “TURN THE PAGE”, which was held across Japan earlier this year in support of ‘OWARI DIARY’. Carrying forward the next chapter of the ‘DIARY’ story built in Japan, the Asia tour will feature full live band arrangements across every stop alongside exclusive collaborations unique to each city.
The Seoul show on June 13 will include Korean singer-songwriter eldon, known for viral track “Pink cheeks”, as the opening act, while acclaimed artist SUMIN joins SIRUP as a featured guest performer. The Taipei show on June 27 will feature genre-crossing artist Chih Siou, while the Bangkok show on July 4 welcomes James Alyn of former Thai R&B duo HYBS, who will perform an extended opening set following his own successful solo activities.
With every city offering different musical collaborations and live highlights, the tour is shaping up to be one of SIRUP’s most ambitious international projects to date.
