Lesti, Melly Goeslaw, Nagita Slavina & Celine Evangelista Present Minimalist Concept in Remake “Rumah Kita”

Lesti, Melly Goeslaw, Nagita Slavina and Celine Evangelista collaborated in the remake of “Rumah Kita” which was popularized by God Bless. This collaboration was an MS Glow project to celebrate Indonesia’s Independence Day.

In the hands of Anto Hoed and Melly Goeslaw as music producers, “Rumah Kita” was presented with a minimalist concept, starting with piano melody and combined with strings & choir nuances make this song sound easy listening, dramatic and elegant.

“Rumah Kita” was originally released in “Semut Hitam” album in 1988 and created by Ian Antono and Theodore KS. This song has unique stories behind the production. (https://www.solidstonefabrics.com/) In 1987, Theodore KS wanted to have his own home like his friends.

Although it’s small, cramped, ugly, and isolated, the important thing is his own home. Then, he wrote the lyrics of “Rumah Kita” and submitted it to Ian Antono, God Bless guitarist. Apparently, while working on the God Bless’s album in 1987, Ian Antono still lived in a rented house. So, he could feel the energy of the lyrics too.

In collaboration with Kece Entertainment, Trinity Optima Production as a label and Aquarius Pustaka Musik as a publisher, MS Glow wanted to interpret the independence day by taking stories based on the true story of MS Glow resellers, with the theme of life struggle.

All these stories will be described in the “Rumah Kita” video clip. A business journey story that changed the lives of thousands of families.

The message to be conveyed in the music and video clips is “MS Glow is a home for those who depend their lives on it.” The meaning of the video clip is in line with the grand theme of Indonesia’s Independence Day “Pulih Lebih Cepat, Bangkit Lebih Kuat”.

MS Glow as an original product from Indonesia aimed to help this country by moving the Indonesian economy.
