Bingkai Karya together with CGV Malang held an event for One Piece fans: Nobar Nakama on September 21, 2022. It was the first day of One Piece: Red premiering in all CGV cinemas, including CGV Malang.
Interestingly, people could not only watch the movie together, but also had fun with the cosplayers from cosplaying communities in Malang: Cosmo and Cosuki, and a J-songs cover band, Hyakushiki. Over 50 One Piece fans attended the event and watched the movie together.
The event started at 4 PM and was opened by the cosplayers. They cosplayed as One Piece characters like Luffy, Ace, and Sanji and because of their unique attire, it invited the public’s attention to take pictures with them. After the photo session, they all went into the studio and watched the movie together.
One Piece is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. This anime is famous for its many episodes and is known as one of the legendary anime since many of its fans followed the story from when they were kids until now as adults.

One Piece: Red is produced by TOEI Animation and is the 15th movie of the series. It features not only the Straw Hat Pirates’ adventure, but also Akagami (Red-haired) Shanks as well as his daughter Uta. No wonder that this movie is anticipated by the fans who wait for the reunion between Monkey D. Luffy and his former mentor, Akagami Shanks.
