Bingkai Karya-After a long journey, Govinda band has finally released its latest album entitled “Govinda Live Studio Session – London 2023.” This album was made with a special recording process, because it was produced in an extraordinary place, Abbey Road Studios. This studio is located in London, as well as being one of the most famous and sacred recording studios for musicians in the world.
According to guitarist Ade, “Govinda not only had the privilege of recording at Abbey Road studio 2, the birthplace and site of approximately 100 Beatles hits, but they also had the chance to collaborate with the National Symphony Orchestra (UK).”
Unlike most of today’s albums that are recorded in tracks, this time Govinda recorded the album live. The orchestra members and Govinda staff had to perform with a higher focus and attention to detail since, as we all know, live recording is difficult.
“In terms of technical recording, Govinda feels very satisfied because we are lucky to maintain this very sacred audio, the mixing process was carried out by Chris Bolster, an engineer who has also mixed audio sound for Placebo, Coldplay, Paul McCartney, Oasis, Take That, Foo Fighters and others. Then the final mastering process is beautifully mixed by engineer Alex Gordon who is also involved in the mastering process of world musicians such as The 1975, Keane, Kali Uchis, Liam Gallagher,” added Ade.
In the album “Govinda Live Studio Session – London 2023,” besides introducing their latest logo, Govinda also released this album in physical form which is packaged exclusively into a vinyl record.
