Rema is Back With His Double Singles “Holiday” and “Reason You”

Rema is back with the double singles ‘Holiday’ and ‘Reason You’, marking his first solo release since his debut album ‘Rave & Roses’ last year. Both singles provide a new, evolved vibe for Rema with his uptempo single ‘Holiday’, while on ‘Reason You’ Rema takes the listener through his enchanting meditative vocals.

The single ‘Holiday’ reflects Rema’s struggle and the sacrifices he made. From Benin City to her debut EP in 2019, these songs highlight his confidence despite obstacles such as his doubts, criticism, and resistance. Rema became known worldwide since his hit single ‘Calm Down’ feat Selena Gomez reached no. 6 on The UK Official Charts, and No. 1 on Billboard Global chart (Except US), and entered Top 10 of Billboard Hot 100. ‘Calm Down’ received a lot of support across India and UAE, and became the single to debut on the MENA chart. Then, the single also became the best performing Afrobeat video on Youtube.

Rema is now the 65th most-streamed artist on Spotify with over 37 million monthly listeners, the highest for an artist from Africa. Rema showed his popularity with his achievement at the end of 2022 where the tickets for his world tour were sold out.
