Rina Sawayama was back with a new single, ‘This Hell’, taking it from her upcoming second album ‘Hold The Girl’ that will be dropped September 2, 2022 through Dirty Hit.
This pop-meet-country song was produced by Paul Epworth and written by Rina together with Epworth and Lauren Aquilina.
Rina began the track with an ode to Shania Twain while she said “let’s go girls” before entering the first verse.
‘This Hell’ was full of glamorous rock riffs and lyrics, added with some artists’ names like Britney, Whitney, etc. shouted.
Recently, Rina listened to some pop-country songs. They represented the convenience, brilliant storytelling, and authentic expression of the writer’s reality.
Not only did she release the song, but she also announced her forthcoming second album ‘Hold The Girl’. Written and recorded for 1.5 years, Rina teamed up with Clarence Clarity, Lauren Aquilina, Paul Epworth, Stuart Price, and Marcus Andersson.
