Shawn Mendes debuted his new song titled “Heartbeat” via Island Records on September 30, 2022. “Heartbeat” is used in the end title of Sony Pictures’ upcoming CGI musical comedy, namely Lyle,Lyle,Crocodile. The movie will be out in theaters on October 7, 2022.
“Heartbeat” was written by Shawn, Jon Bellion, Amy Allen, Scott Harris, Jason ‘Tenroc’ Cornet, Clyde Lawrence and Jordan Cohen. It was produced by Shawn, Jon Bellion, TenRoc, and The Diner.

Along with the song, the original motion picture soundtrack will be released on October 7, 2022. The whole tracklist for the movie was released last week. The soundtrack was written by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Oscar-winning duo), Shawn Mendes, Stevie Wonder, and Elton John, which also has Constance Wu, Javier Bardem, and Anthony Ramos as co-stars.
