Bingkai Karya- Erwin Gutawa, a master of Indonesian music, composed the new track “Sejarah,” which was released by singer Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza. As Siti Nurhaliza approaches her 30-year mark in the music business, the song “Sejarah” holds special meaning for her.
Erwin Gutawa collaborated on Sejarah with his daughter Gita Gutawa, who wrote the song’s lyrics. Erwin claims that the song Sejarah was composed especially for Siti Nurhaliza after she realized the beauty of her voice and character. Gita was instructed by Erwin to compose songs about a person who is full of life events and who is thankful in every way.
Erwin’s usage of the Czech Symphony Orchestra to accompany a masterfully composed musical arrangement created especially for Siti Nurhaliza made it even more memorable.
Unique Present
Siti Nurhaliza gave Lagu Sejarah as a unique present before she passed off in 2024 following a hectic year-long tour of concerts. “If Siti can collaborate with Erwin Gutawa on a song once more, Sejarah will always hold a special place in her heart. She requested that Erwin write a unique song that narrates her artistic career.”
“I owe Erwin Gutawa a great deal for creating a song that makes me feel something when I sing it. “According to Siti, “this song is like I am in all the phases of my artistic journey and while I’m delivering it, I imagine the memories one by one.” Siti also expressed gratitude to Aubrey Suwito for his assistance in Kuala Lumpur throughout the vocal recording session.
Siti hopes that her most recent hit will win over fans’ hearts. Beginning November 14, 2024, the track, which was released by SN Legacy Sdn. Bhd. and Universal Music Sdn. Bhd., will be available for streaming and subscription on all digital platforms.
