Bingkai Karya – After a three-year hiatus since her last release, SIVIA is back with her second single titled “Bangkit (Apa Yang Kau Takutkan?)“, set to be released on all digital streaming platforms on April 25, 2025. This single also marks the beginning of the journey toward her upcoming second full-length album, scheduled for release in July.
Through this single, SIVIA shares her journey of growth—not only as a singer but also as she embraces new roles in various phases of her life over the past few years. Today, SIVIA is not only a passionate musician but has also blossomed into a wife and mother. These additional roles have brought her through many different life stages, some of which came with confusing and even unwelcome inner voices.
It is often said that the loudest voices come from within our own heads. Through “Bangkit (Apa Yang Kau Takutkan?)“, SIVIA invites listeners to quiet the noise, engage in an honest conversation with themselves, and reexamine their deepest fears. She encourages everyone to rise, reminding us that fear is just a temporary phase that will eventually pass.
“All these new roles I’ve had to navigate over the past few years have taught me that everything is just a phase of life that will eventually move on. Even though many moments have been uncomfortable, I’ve learned to remember that everything happens by Allah’s will. Through this, I have found my place as a creation before The Creator,” shared SIVIA (25/04).
Produced alongside Ezra Abraham and fully written by SIVIA, “Bangkit (Apa Yang Kau Takutkan?)” continues the narrative set by her previous single “Suara”, released in 2022—both part of the journey toward her second album. In this new single, lyrics like “Pecahkan tangismu!” stand out as a reminder that rising can mean making the most of what we already have. Another striking line, “Bangkit dan putuskan!”, encourages listeners to take charge of their next steps.
The production of “Bangkit (Apa Yang Kau Takutkan?)” further solidifies SIVIA’s matured musical identity in the Pop/Soul genre. Beyond the genre itself, vocal harmonization—featuring a mini choir—once again plays a major role in giving life to the single. This time, SIVIA also explores the use of guitar sounds as a fresh addition to her musical expression.
“I’ve always known that Pop/Soul is the musical color I want to pursue. Harmonization is the singing technique I enjoy the most. I tried to showcase all of this through the single, and even more in my upcoming second album. This is SIVIA,” she explained (25/04).This release represents a deeply personal journey for SIVIA.
