Yovie Widianto & Tiara Andini Reunite in ‘Tanpa Cinta’ – A Heartfelt Song for the Brokenhearted

Bingkai Karya – Who wants to experience heartbreak? If given the choice, most people would prefer not to feel heartbroken, especially because of love. But, whether we like it or not, we have to go through the difficult phase of moving on.

This is the message that Yovie Widianto wants to express in his latest single with Tiara Andini titled “Tanpa Cinta.” The song was actually a hit released some time ago, but now, it is re-released under the Universal Music Indonesia label.

“This song, ‘Tanpa Cinta,’ tells the story of someone who is heartbroken because their love is unreturned, and the person they loved has turned to someone else. It describes the struggle to move on and accept the reality that love can no longer be found, so it’s better to continue life without love,” Yovie Widianto said about the single.

Tiara Andini’s involvement in this song marks the return of their collaboration since last year. “I already planned that when this song was re-released, I wanted Tiara to sing it. And she welcomed the idea warmly,” said Yovie.

“I really love this song, so when I got the chance to collaborate, I didn’t hesitate to agree. Plus, it’s from Papa Yovie. There were some challenges, but in the end, I’m really happy with the result,” Tiara Andini said.

As for the music arrangement, Yovie Widianto didn’t change the pattern too drastically. However, the music was made sweeter with more melodic tones, making it sound fresher.

The music video was made with an artsy visual tone, featuring a theatrical concept that ties in with the song’s message. The video was directed by Prialangga.

“The concept is actually simple, but the way it’s presented is really good and meaningful, especially with the dance performance. I’m very satisfied,” said Yovie Widianto.

Through this single, Yovie Widianto hopes it will reach a wider audience, especially for the current generation. It’s not just for nostalgia but also relatable to anyone today.

“I hope this song gets even more listeners because the original version already had high streams. Now that it’s being re-released by Tiara Andini, it’s even more exciting,” said Yovie.
