Bingkai Karya – Four-time GRAMMY – winning singer-songwriter and producer Phoebe Bridgers has officially released her highly anticipated third solo album, ‘Lost Weekend’, via Dead Oceans. Marking her first solo release in six years, the 16-track album arrives alongside a new music video for focus track “I Can’t Wait,” following a series of global listening events held ahead of its release.
With Lost Weekend, Bridgers returns at a defining point in her career, refining many of the songwriting motifs that have distinguished her previous work while continuing to embrace unexpected creative directions. The album follows her acclaimed sophomore record ‘Punisher’, released during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, and her celebrated debut ‘Stranger in the Alps’.
The release is accompanied by the official video for “I Can’t Wait,” directed by Chris Maggio and Pablo Rochat. Taking a surreal and visually striking approach to Los Angeles, the video serves as the album’s second visual release, adding another dimension to Bridgers’ latest creative era.
The arrival of Lost Weekend has also been marked by an ambitious global celebration. Fans gathered for midnight listening events across the world, including Southeast Asia, with every session reaching full capacity. Attendees were given early access to the album, exclusive physical variants, and limited-edition keepsakes, creating an intimate shared experience around the long-awaited release.
The album was additionally previewed inside planetariums around the world, where listeners experienced the record alongside immersive visual presentations. The sessions featured either a custom dome show by night-sky photographer Babak Tafreshi or an atmospheric laser experience created by Laser Fantasy, transforming the first listen into an enveloping audiovisual event.
Bridgers’ return follows years of major artistic milestones, including her work with boygenius, multiple GRAMMY wins, collaborations with artists such as Taylor Swift, Lorde, MUNA, The National, Bright Eyes, Paul McCartney, and The 1975, and a sold-out 45-date arena tour across North America, the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
Now, ‘Lost Weekend’ marks the beginning of a new chapter for Phoebe Bridgers, bringing her songwriting into a fresh era while reconnecting with a global audience that has waited six years for her solo return. The album is available now via Dead Oceans, with the “I Can’t Wait” music video accompanying its release.
