Calling to all K-Pop and K-Drama fans! Who is ready to visit the country of K-Idols and K-Actors? Because South Korea finally opened the restriction for foreign visitors to come to South Korea.
Starting June 8, 2022, the visitors are no longer required to quarantine in spite of their vaccination status.
The quarantine exception is applied to those who come to South Korea before June 8 or are quarantining at the moment. Yet, Covid-19 test is still needed.
The international visitors have to take the PCR or Antigen test before departing to Korea. Moreover, an additional PCR test is also required 3 days after the arrival and the result must be negative.
What if we got positive? That means you can’t have a flight to Korea, and if you got it by additional PCR in Korea, you should immediately be quarantined.
Then, what to prepare before going to Korea?
- Prepare your Korean Visa (K-ETA)
- Prepare your negative PCR result
- Take an additional PCR test by the time you arrived in Korea
- Complete 2 doses of vaccination for people under 18 years old
- Bring your vaccinated parents if you are under 12 years
- Register on Q-code
